Why do I teach?
I teach to help teenagers develop and grow in their relationship with Christ and accomplish their academic goal of receiving a high school diploma.
What have my students taught me?
My students have taught me the importance of responding, not reacting to situations that arise.

Family time, being a youth leader, cooking and baking
Why do I teach?
I love children. I love to be able to help them understand new concepts, but most of all, I love teaching them about God and watching them grow spiritually.
What have my students taught me?
They have taught me that God creates each person with different learning abilities and he uses these abilities to teach and mold the students’ personalities into who he needs them to be.

Why do I teach?
I have dreamed about teaching since I was a young girl. I love teaching them to read. Seeing their eyes light up when they get it is so rewarding to me.
What have my students taught me?
I have learned that each student and each class is unique. I have learned to follow where they lead and be amazed by their insight and creativity. I have learned that they may be ‘mine’ for a year, but they are forever in my heart.”

exploring new places, trying new things, cooking, shopping, spending time with my husband.
Why do I teach?
It probably sounds cliché, but I really do love it! I love spending time with my students and learning things with them. It’s definitely never boring!
What have my students taught me?
They’ve taught me to have fun and look at life in a simpler way. I’ve also learned – through their prayer requests – that God cares about ‘small things’ and answers even the ‘smallest’ requests.
